Beautiful words!
So many great lines, but this one really stands out for me:
"When you are a starless night,
Remember I am the Moon."
Now, what makes me feel powerful:
Being able to make something from nothing. When I put one word in front of another, and create a world that didn't exist before.
100% feel you on that. Creative writing is god-status. (Also, the words—and worlds—you write are awesome, you’re so right to feel powerful about that!)

Loved these. My favorite part was:
"I can’t stop winning,
I can’t stop Catholic-school-sinning.
Gave up my pain for Lent,
Never picked it back up"
Something about those lines really connected to something ineffable for me. I loved it.
Sometimes all it takes is a little glimpse of freedom to get the feet running. Glad you enjoyed it!
