My favorite tarot card comparison I ever heard was contrasting The Devil with The Heirophant and it had everything to do with their hands.
The interpretation went something like:
The Devil shows an open hand implying "all you see is all there is" while the Heirophant holds up only a couple fingers saying "what you see is only part of all there is".
I really liked the poems that you included with this one. I caught a few of them on the feed, but reading them all together was a different experience.
